Dear friends in Christ,

 

I want to appeal to your patience during these coming weeks during the Summer. We are in the process of hiring a new Church Secretary. During this time of transition, we have been diminished in our ability to answer phones, welcome visitors, and be available to serve our wonderful community. Last week and this coming week, we are limited, but rest assured we are around and open. Our target date for welcoming our new Church Secretary will be Monday, August 1^st. At that time, we will be establishing new hours for our Parish office. We will be open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM beginning on Monday August 1^st. There will be a staff lunch break from 12:30 to 1 PM each day, so the office will be closed during that time. I also want to let you know that my regular day off is Friday, so I am not usually around on that day.

 

We have a small staff at our Pastorate, but we do great work, and it is all for you and our community. It is a joy to work with all our staff and volunteers that make our many ministries possible. We are also so happy to have special connections with the Immigration Center, Notre Dame Mission Volunteers, Gedco Cares, Marian House, and Cardinal Shehan School. We work very well with our neighbor, Good Samaritan Hospital, and have strong connections to other Christian denominations and interfaith congregations. We also work with the community organizing group here in Baltimore called Build. It is truly amazing when you think about all the many organizations and work done in, through, and with our Pastorate. Thank you all for your support; none of it would be possible without your financial donations, faithful prayers, presence, and the precious gift of your time and energy. May the Lord continue to bless our efforts and bring success to the work of our hands and the hands of all the amazing institutions, ministries, and organizations we are so grateful to work with, know, and love.
