St. Matthew Catholic Church, located in Baltimore, is rich in tradition, united in mission and blessed with diversity!  Our welcoming church home is seeking a Parish Secretary to provide administrative support to the Pastor, staff and ministries.

Job responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support, such as coordinating services for funerals and weddings, recording sacramental records and producing a weekly bulletin
• Maintain the parish website and communicate via various social media tools, such as Flocknote and Facebook
• Manage online giving program, enter data in the parish database and produce reports as needed
• Be a welcoming presence to all who contact the church and serve by communicating effectively in-person, via email or over the phone
• Assist ministry leaders with support to coordinate events, advertise and help administer various programs and sacramental celebrations (e.g. religious education communications and registrations, scheduling cantors and altar servers for Masses)
