Thank you for all who were able to donate to our Christmas Flowers for the altar. In case you are not able to attend Church this weekend, here is the list of all those who donated and their family, friends and loved ones that they wish to honor and remember.
Christmas blessings from above, fills our hearts this day. As we focus on the Christmas message and the wonder it conveys, it gives us reason to praise God for all that He has done and for all He is yet to do. In those who trust His Son. So this Christmas time, thank the Lord for the precious gift He gave and for loved ones who help create the memories that are made. Wishing you a joyus Christmas!! Love, Fr. Matt and the staff of St. Matthew and Blessed Sacrament
Please read the message from Rev. Cat Goodrich. If you are able, join us for a peace vigil this Sunday at 4:30pm across the street from St. Matthew's at Faith Presbyterian Church. Greetings all, As you may know, a young woman was shot and killed on Woodmont Ave last Sunday evening, up the street from Faith Church. I'm working with Father Matt from St. Matthew's to hold a peace vigil at 4:30, this Sunday afternoon - we'll pray for the family, the neighborhood, the city, and light candles. We'll meet in Faith Church's far north lot (near the trees that were just planted) and walk across the street together. Please - share with your parishioners, come if you are able - to be a presence for peace in a hurting community - and hold us in prayer if you are not. Thanks and peace, Cat Goodrich
